We started a perfectly delayed flight with Southwest. We tried to change our flight that connected in Atlanta.

We were told not to change our flight because they were holding our flight. There were 14 of us connecting to go to Orlando. We spoke with a customer service representative who forwarded us to the supervisor who was named Kevin, who was rude and suggested we take a private plane. Already in distress trying to get to a family member funeral we wait.

Kevin told us the very next flight was full and we could not be put on standby, but he booked us on another flight leaving 5 hours later. A very nice white passenger was also going to Orlanda for a funeral as well. Sweet Lady, she gave the customer service representative homemade cookies that would surely guarantee her a seat, everybody needs to be treated with respect. After numerous emails back and forth with a Phone representative name Rachel who apologized but stated she could do nothing until after our flight then she would revisit it.

I have attached a picture of the cookie accepting representative who stated there was no Kevin so I must have been mistaken. I am so shocked and surprised that people are treated so poorly.

We sit and watched 2 people be added to standby who arrived to be added after us. Good luck flying Southwest.

I have been using Southwest for 30 years. I had 60,000 miles in my account which they cancelled this month without any notice and have refused to put them back into my rapid rewards account (5040****) that I have had for 25 years.

What does the fact the lady was white have anything to do with it?why include that?

They should have put you on a taxi to the Greyhound Station, bought you Greyhound tickets home, and given you a 100% refund of the full purchase price of your airline tickets.

We are so unhappy with how SW Airlines treated me, weโ€™re done with the airlines and we both have been frequent flyers for a decade and a half.

This is flying..... What did you want them to do, bump 14 other people off their flights for your group?

You mean 14 other people whose reasons for travel are just as compelling and important to them as yours? When it comes to airlines, "nothing they can do" means just that. It doesn't mean you'll get your way if you have a compelling reason to be somewhere, "talk to a supervisor" or try an ethical bribe, brag on your longevity with the company or raise cane.

They won't turn the system upside down for you and don't have a spare plane sitting out back just in case something like this happens. It sucks but once again, this is flying...It happens.

Anonymous is obviously a SW paid bot.

Ah yes....The Loser's Lament... A variation of the over used meme "You must work for (insert company)." A common phrase losers like to use when a comment doesn't match up to their banal and lame narrative.
